As we move through 2025, I’m excited to share that iGive Global continues to expand its reach in empowering extraordinary lives through microfinance.
With seven new loans initiated this quarter, our active loan portfolio has grown to 34 entrepreneurs across multiple countries. Since our founding, we’ve had the privilege of investing in 114 small business loans, each representing a family’s dream and a community’s potential for growth.
Meet Leonela: Beauty Business Builder
Among our newest loan recipients is Leonela Carolina, a determined mother from the fishing village of Arenales.
Leonela has built a thriving business in the beauty industry, specializing in acrylic nail services and supplies. What started as a mobile service has grown into a comprehensive business model combining home visits with local product sales through social media.
Her microfinance loan will fund essential equipment including UV lamps, professional tools, and inventory – investments that will allow her to serve more clients and increase her income to support her family.
The Ripple Effect of 7 New Dreams
This quarter’s new loans represent diverse entrepreneurial ventures across various small business sectors. Like Leonela, each of our seven new loan recipients has demonstrated both the need and the vision to grow their business.
From agricultural initiatives to small retail shops, these loans are enabling business owners to purchase inventory, upgrade equipment, and expand their operations. What’s particularly encouraging is seeing how these investments create ripple effects in their communities – from job creation to improved services for local residents.
Our repayment rate remains strong, allowing us to reinvest funds into new loans, creating a continuous cycle of empowerment.

In 2025, we want to double our microfinance loan investments and double our number of loans. Investing $6,000 in loans for 30 women would be amazing!
